    Pages from Power and Patronage in Medieval Syria. The trim size is 8.5 x 11, so there was a danger of making the lines too long or too tightly leaded. About a third of the book’s pages have illustrations on them, which presents a number of challenges not faced in a book without illustrations. Included 5 pages of color plates. In addition to page design and layout, dust jacket and some editing, I redrew some maps, scanned many illustrations, indexed the entire book. 255 pages.
